What happened: I’d only had the electric vest (plus fork sensor) about 2 months when unfortunately came off at about 20mph.
Wearing full gear when I came off, I hurt my legs and arm but I had no pain or injuries to my neck or back. Felt like the Michelin man when I picked myself up, it sort of squeezes you all in and I felt very protected with it on. The vest has a few small scratches on it but is still perfectly fine.
A year later of riding and haven’t had to use it again and hopefully never will, but I wouldn’t dream of riding now without it on.
Thank you Tim for letting us tell your story. If it wasn’t for the airbag, Tim’s Injuries could have been a lot worse.
